Authors in Moore Schools
Founded in 2015, Authors in Moore Schools (AIMS) is a North Carolina-based literary nonprofit. AIMS seeks to promote the love of reading by bringing students, parents, schools, communities, and authors together through great books. Over the past 6 years we have placed 14,879 books, from 82 bestselling authors, into the hands of students at 30 local schools.

We believe that words and books are essential in molding students’ minds. Since our first event, we have placed 14,879 books into the hands and homes of young readers.
Our Authors
AIMS has partnered with 82 bestselling authors to bring their books, and often themselves, to meet, speak to, and interact with students of all ages.
